CASA LN - Rome Monteverde
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
The radical transformation of this Roman home, located in a 1960s building in the Monteverde district, was guided by a delicate balance between sustainability and design—an especially challenging task in a structure that, by age alone, was never designed for energy efficiency. Thermal envelope insulation, solar shading, underfloor climate control, photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, LED lighting, and advanced monitoring systems: these key technological elements are seamlessly integrated into a spatial concept rooted in fluidity, formal rigor, and an intuitive dialogue between forms and materials. |
