CENTER OF GRAVITY

CENTRE DE GRAVITÉ
The MyBed concept originates from a reflection on one of the most "ancient" objects of our daily lives—so ancient that it constitutes a true archetype. Perhaps for this reason, the shape and function of the bed have remained largely unchanged, unlike other complementary objects whose transformations have led to significant functional evolutions.
MyBed is a bed—but not just a bed. Designed for luxury hospitality, it was created with the explicit aim of becoming a center of gravity within the microcosm of the hotel room. Much like Ulysses’ tree-bed, around which his home was built, MyBed does not require walls to lean against, only an open space that allows for movement.
Thanks to cutting-edge technologies, MyBed integrates many living functions (and almost all those of "living elsewhere"): sleeping, reading, listening to music, eating, working, watching TV, relaxing… In other words, it seeks to recreate a private, personal, almost intimate habitat in a setting where such qualities are often hard to find.
