CORPOREAL LIGHTNESS Within the former monastery of San Silvestro in Capite in Rome, a refined intervention reimagines the library and historical archives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. A monumental bookshelf-wall extends across three levels, linking the spaces with suspended walkways. Soft, diffused lighting reveals the texture of vaulted ceilings and highlights the ethereal quality of opalescent columns. Freed from past constraints, the space unfolds in a fluid, dynamic experience, where history and modernity coexist in a delicate balance of materiality and transparency.
