SIMULATEUR DE VOL
AERODYNAMIC FEEDBACK
The flight procedure simulator designed for IDS is a faithful reconstruction of a "dematerialized" cockpit—devoid of an enclosing cabin or panels—making it fully visible from every angle. All components, in compliance with ergonomic positioning and usability criteria, are integrated into a compact, balanced shell with a fluid and enveloping design. The structure, supported by internal steel sheet reinforcements, is fully enclosed with preformed aluminum and stainless-steel elements, giving the whole system an elegant look and a familiar aerodynamic feel for end users. Inside the structural elements (central support and wings), ample space is provided for power supplies, wiring, and support electronics—offering significant advantages both aesthetically and in terms of maintenance. The video simulation is powered by a high-contrast rear-projection screen and specialized aspherical mirror projectors, which, thanks to their ultra-short throw distance, can also be integrated within the structure. Except for the remote racks housing the control computers, the system is designed as a seamless, harmonious unit, viewable from any angle, free of backfaces or disruptive elements. The perfect integration of design and technology makes this a unique object, ideal for use in high-end environments. |
